Ron brought Linda and John to the Airport this morning for their trip back to MA. We had a great time and visit but they both have to get back to work.
I spent the morning doing laundry and getting the RV ready for our next journey to Roswell, NM about 220 miles from here. There is absolutely nothing for miles and miles. About 100 miles outside of Roswell we decided to stop for some gas even though we still had a little more then a quarter of a tank. We don’t want to get stuck in the middle of nowhere.
On a whim Ron decided to check the hitch on the RV. GUESS WHAT!!!!!!!!!! One bolt was loose – AGAIN. The problem was supposed to have been fixed three weeks ago. Ron had to go under the RV and tighten it. This is a problem that should not have recurred. The Service Manager at Marty’s told us that the hitch was on properly and there should be no further problems. Never trust a Service Manager whose workers put the hitch on backwards to begin with. We’ll be monitoring a lot more closely until we can get this issue permanently resolved.
